Baccalaureate results joy
STUDENTS are celebrating early after a year of record exam results.
Leavers at Box Hill School have received the results for their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma courses, an alternative to A-Levels.
Staff are thrilled after 94 per cent of students passed the course, the school's best rate ever, while 100 per cent of international students achieved a Bilingual Diploma.
Headmaster Mark Eagers said: "Our IB programme is really proving itself and we are delighted with this year's results, as they show continued improvement.

"All our sixth form leavers must be congratulated on their success and I thank all the staff for their hard work, dedication and professionalism in bringing about such great results."
The results of IB exams are released before those of A-levels, meaning students can enjoy a relaxed summer break, with many already having secured university places.
Matthew Duffield, IB coordinator at the school, said: "Students have already secured their university places with one studying languages at the prestigious Sorbonne in Paris, another history of art at York and our top student studying international relations at Exeter University."
This year's A-level results will be released on August 18, while GCSE grades are released a week later.
