Body found under Reigate bridge identified
Police have named the man whose dead body was found on Reigate Hill.
Marc Degan, 27 from Redhill, died after he fell from a bridge crossing Reigate Hill just after 5.30pm, on Monday (January 18).
Mr Degan's death is not being treated as suspicious however officers are investigating the circumstances that led up to his death and would like to speak to anyone who saw, or spoke to, Mr Degan.
Due to the nature of the incident the A217 was closed in both directions until just after 10.20pm.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who knew Mr Degan, is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 01483 639922.
