Marina and the Diamonds have been getting heavy airplay on BBC radio lately.

The new wave blissful sounding hot tip for 2010 are just one of the acts lined-up for this year's Great Escape festival in Brighton and Hove.

More than 250 bands are set to play in more than 30 venues across the city for the fifth annual event.

Manchester's Delphic will be bringing their much lauded indie-rave hybrid to southern shores. Another one to watch, they are garnering high praise for the debut album Acolyte.

Canadian über-group Broken Social Scene, who are currently putting the finishing touches to their fourth album, will be crossing the Atlantic to join the action with their baroque-pop.

There's hooky electronica from Brits Critics' Choice winner Ellie Goulding and intergalactic rockabilly-esque folk from Sheffield duo Slow Club,

This year's gig at The Dome on Saturday, May 15, is drum and base duo Chase and Status, who have built a reputation as one of the most blisteringly on-point live acts in dance music.

If you have bought an early bird three day wristband for the festival you can buy a Chase and Status ticket for £15. If you haven't yet got a three day wristband, then a combined ticket for £60 will get you one of these and access to Chase and Status.
