A road in Dorking was closed after a bus collided with a car.

The Arriva bus was travelling along Horsham Road when it was in collision with another vehicle at 9.50am this morning (December 29).

Police closed the South Street entrance to the road while an ambulance crew attended the scene.

An 80-year-old woman was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill suffering from minor injuries and shock.

The road reopened by 11am.
