THE seminars for the first ever Dorking Business Show have been announced.

The show, on Thursday, September 16, starts with an early bird networking seminar at 8am followed by a networking breakfast with tea and coffee. This seminar costs £5, but all the rest are free.

This is then followed by hourly seminars including how to raise your online profile (10.15am to 11am) and a presentation from Shoppers Anonymous about how to improve customer service in the following hour.

Frank le Duc, editor-in-chief of the Dorking Advertiser, will also be appearing on a panel alongside representatives of BBC Surrey and Surrey Life on how to gain coverage of business news, between 12.15pm and 1pm.

The final three seminars are a presentation from Downs Solicitors about business law, a talk from entrepreneur Rosco Paterson and, finally, a presentation about leadership skills from Keith Posner of Positive Perspective.

There will also be more than 50 stalls at the main exhibition, which runs from 10am to 5pm.
