Chris Williams leaves Dorking Wanderers
AFTER two seasons and two promotions Chris Williams has left Dorking Wanderers under a dark cloud.
Division One rivals Horsham YMCA have put in a seven-day transfer request for the diminutive striker which has left Wanderers boss Marc White fuming.

"Chris has played his last game for us," White said. "He hasn't scored for ten weeks and at the moment it seems like Division One was one promotion too far for him, but maybe he'll prove me wrong at YM.
"He hasn't demonstrated the right attitude in the last few weeks for me, but he was a good servant for the club in previous seasons and that won't be forgotten."

Wanderers recorded a 3-0 win in a bad-tempered game on Saturday that saw Crowborough Athletic's Harry Thompson sent off for an altercation with Byron Brown that threatened to turn into a 22-man brawl.
"The Crowborough player grabbed Byron by the neck, it was like a WWE wrestling move," White said. "Looking at the two teams, even though they were down to ten men I think we would have won anyway."
Michael Death opened the scoring for Wanderers on 15 minutes but then with the Crows reduced to ten men, the home team added further goals through Rob Osgood and Jake Hill.
"It was the second clean-sheet in a row, which is practically unheard of," White said. "I think we are turning a corner now and I'm really pleased for Michael Death to score because he has stuck at it and got his reward.
"Jake Hill's goal was goal of the season, a 30-yard volley and additions to the team like John Boswell have really helped make the defence tighter."
And striker Death has credited White with the side's turnaround in form.
"Marc has made some big decisions; got rid of some who weren't good enough and brought in two or three players like John Boswell who have made us a much better side," the 28-year-old said. "We have changed the formation as well which suits me better and I was pleased to get my first goal for the club.
"Jake Hill's goal was brilliant, I didn't know he had it in his locker, although part of me still thinks he was just trying to bring it down and accidently volleyed it."
Wanderers travel to relegation-threatened Chichester City on Saturday, and with just six points between the two teams, White concedes it is an important fixture.
"It is definitely a six-pointer," he said. "But having said that, the way we are playing I don't think we have to look at the table anymore. It is a must-win for them, but I don't think it is for us."
