Rock bottom Cobham are in a mountain of trouble as Wembley picked them apart with a 3-0 defeat.

On the day where the club announced a new management structure and a link with Oxshott, Cobham still had a slim chance of staying up if they could get off the bottom of the Combined Counties League premier division table.

Cobham were missing lively young winger Shane Cheeseman and goalkeeper McGregor while Mark McKendrick was playing his final game for the first team.

Wembley tested the Cobham back four with long balls over the top but were swallowed up by Rousell and Stratful.

Wembley scored the only goal in a scrappy first half and in a desperate attempt to get Cobham back into the game, manager Ken Reed made a double substation replacing McKendrick with Joey Stevens Tom Davies with Michael Leech.

Cobham offered little at the beginning of the second half and soon fell further behind.

Man of the match Ruggles in goal made three super saves in quick succession but Wembley were too hot.
