Community garden grows
The completion of a community garden in Leatherhead is growing one step nearer thanks to the hard work of residents last weekend.
Volunteers, including members of Epsom Rotaract, worked on the garden site in Woodbridge Grove, North Leatherhead, on Saturday following the delivery of topsoil.

Hard work: Volunteers working on the raised vegetable beds for the Leatherhead Community Garden and Learning Centre
They completed the raised beds where the community will eventually be able to grow their own organic vegetables.
When complete, the site will also be developed into a centre for learning topics such as horticulture and healthy eating.
Simon Woodhams, the chairman of the community garden and learning centre, said: "I have been involved in the project from day one and it has been personally inspiring to see people from all walks of life get involved and make a difference in their local community.
"I am very grateful for the support we have received this week from the Rotarians and it was a great day for all involved."
The project, which is being supported by Mole Valley District Council, was launched in September last year and is looking for more volunteers.
