The Dorking Concertgoers quartet series featuring the Endellion String Quartet continues with the musicians playing no.3 from

Beethoven's first set of six string quartets opus 18, with its presto finale.

The concert includes Bartok's fifth quartet, a fascinating and impressive work by one of the most important composers of 20th century quartets, and Mendelssohn's quartet in A minor, written when he was only 18.
