Dragon's Den panellist visits Cobham for business skills course
ONE of the original Dragons' Den panellists will teach budding entrepreneurs how to turn a hobby into a business.Doug Richard, who appeared in the first two series of the BBC program, will be holding a two day course at the Cobham Hilton Hotel on June 11 and 12 to train startups in how to turn their creative ideas into a full time business.He will be joined by a team of business experts to explain how to build an effective business model, sell a product or service online, find customers through the web and market as a small business.Mr Richard said: "Creative businesses contribute 6% of GDP and employ over 2 million people, and are set to contribute as much as £85bn of added value to the economy by 2013.
