Farnham gallery set to host special Christmas exhibition

THE New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham is offering both novice and expert collectors of art a unique Christmas exhibition, which begins on November 17.

All of the work is handmade, unique and environmentally friendly, and some of the items could make perfect gifts to go under the tree on Christmas Day.

Known for selecting contemporary craft of the highest quality and skill, the gallery has found many of the makers at major events such as Collect, Art in Clay, Art in Action and the Festival of Crafts.

Work from more than 80 designers will be on display, including the recently crowned Surrey Artist of the Year 2012, Tessa Pearson.
