Game off
DORKING Wanderers' John O'Hara League Cup clash with Lingfield on Tuesday night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
And it was probably much to the relief of manager Marc White.
He missed the side's two games last week, an extra-time victory over Westfield in the RUR Charity Cup and a 0-0 draw with Worthing United in the Sussex County League, because he was away in Egypt.
But before he went away, he told the Advertiser that matches could not come slowly enough for his depleted side.

Ravaged by injuries and suspensions, White has struggled in recent weeks.
He said: "We are threadbare at the moment - the league games can't come slowly enough."
Wanderers will have Chris Williams and Duncan Fraser back from suspension for this Saturday's home game with Chichester though.
Matty Evans has a long-term injury, but Bobby Hooper is fit again, while White has added to the squad by bringing in Rob Osgood and Jack Lyons.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 3pm.
