SOUVENIRS commemorating the Queen's Golden Jubilee were stolen from a home on Monday.

A black gemstone brooch, six silver coins and one gold coin were taken from an address in Tudor Walk, Leatherhead.

The burglary took place between 9.50am and 3pm, and police believe the offenders got in through a rear window.

Investigating officer Dawn Lewis said: "I would appeal to anyone who has information on the whereabouts of these coins or the distinctive brooch, as we need to find the person responsible for the burglary.

"Although the coins and the brooch are valuable in their own right, they had huge sentimental value to the owner.

"Officers would like to reunite them with the stolen property – but we need the help of public to do so."
