Guildford 'Celebrating The Torch' event sells out in four hours
All 25,000 tickets for the free 'Celebrating The Torch' event in Stoke Park, Guildford to celebrate the conclusion of the Olympic torch relay in Surrey have sold out.
Tickets for the event, which will take place on the 20th July, sold out in four hours after going onsale this morning at 8am; 12,000 of those tickets were prioritised for local residents.
"It's fantastic news that ticket sales were so strong and so many people are looking forward to joining us for this historic event," said Cllr Jen Powell, Lead Councillor for Culture and Leisure.
We asked on Twitter for people's experiences this morning of obtaining tickets and the reaction seems to indicate that there were hardly any major issues.

Full details of the event have yet to be unveiled but it is known that Rizzle Kicks will be performing live.
There will also be a fairground, local music, a selection of regional food and drink and activities for people to try out including sports, art and dance.
