A cricketing legend will be switching on Reigate's Christmas lights.

BBC personality Phil Tufnell will be starring at the Reigate Business Guild's Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday, (December 5).

Mr Tufnell, affectionately known as The Cat in sporting circles, lives in Lower Kingswood and will be switching on the lights at 5pm.

But he won't be the only icon starring at the extravaganza, with Santa Claus arriving by helicopter at Reigate's Priory Park at 11.30am.

There will be donkey rides, carol singing and a treasure hunt for children attending the celebration.

Miss Christmas and the Christmas Children will also be dancing outside the Town Hall between 4 and 6pm.

There will be free parking in the council car parks for the day.
