New management at Bookham
BOOKHAM have announced their new management set-up for the forthcoming season.
Following the resignation of first team manager Glynn Mandeville and coach Tony Knight, the club have promoted long-serving player and reserve team manager Andy Taylor to the role of manager.
Taylor has a wealth of playing experience with Fulham Schoolboys, Walton & Hersham, Leatherhead and Dorking before returning to Bookham where he has been since 1995.
Taylor has already got most of last season's squad signed up for the new campaign and he is looking forward to getting his teeth into it.

He said: "It was quite scary at first, but I'm looking forward to the season now.
"I'm not kidding myself, we're never going to be a top three side but we can definitely be mid-table and hopefully have a cup run too. It's exciting and hopefully we can do better than last year because that was a bad year."
Taylor will be assisted at the Combined Counties Premier League club by Kevin Ward, another long-serving Bookham player.
Replacing Taylor as manager of the second team will be James Leitch, who is also an ex-Fulham schoolboy and Chelsea Community coach.
He was a key member of the first team squad until a serious knee injury hampered his playing career.
Bookham's pre-season training starts at Dorking Road in Bookham on Tuesday, June 29. Any players who are interested in joining the club are welcome.
