Olympic cycle race will have 3,000 parking spaces
THREE thousand parking spaces will be provided for Olympic road cycling race spectators on July 28 and 29.
Tickets went on sale on Tuesday and buyers will be sent maps, information and directions to the car parks, taking into account road closures required on the race weekend
The four locations will be stewarded on both race days and are all located within walking distance of the route.
Mole Valley District Council strategic director Laura Taylor said "We are looking forward to welcoming everybody who wants to come to the district for the race weekend, whether this be by foot, by public transport or by car.

The car parks, at Lower Boxhill Farm, The Priory School in Dorking, St Andrews School in Leatherhead and Young Street in Leatherhead, will be open from 6am to 6pm on Saturday and 8am to 6pm on Sunday.

A small number of disabled spaces will be available for pre-booking in Dorking and Leatherhead town centres for Blue Badge holders only. Call 01306 885001.
