PARENTS who want to comment on the potential closure of a Dorking school are being urged to contact the headteacher.

Residents and parents from the Pixham area of Dorking have been expressing anxiety about plans to close the Pixham Annexe, for months.

The Pixham Lane school, that educates reception and Year 1 pupils, is governed by St Martin's Primary School, where pupils from the annexe have traditionally moved on to.

But as a result of the Dorking school's review there are plans to move the annexe to St Martin's Ranmore Road site.

Jane Gorecka has requested parents contact her before August 7 if they wish to comment on the proposed closure.
