Pensioner dies after Leatherhead crash
A PENSIONER died following a crash in Leatherhead on Thursday.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Randalls Road at 1.10pm after a single decker coach and a blue Honda Jazz collided.
The passenger in the Honda, a woman in her 70s, was cut out of the car and taken to Kings College Hospital in London where she died.
The driver of the Honda was taken to St Helier Hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the coach was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Road closures were put in place along Randalls Road and Cleeve Road.

“Horrible accident this was i head the crash, condolences to the family of the deceased. I must comment on the incredible landing of the air ambulance that pilot was incredible I've shown the video of it taking off to friends who could believe it was real. The emergency services were all on scene within minuets.”
