THERE was only ever going to be one winner in this game as Cobham travelled to Coulsdon, who had lost all their previous 12 games, scoring only four goals and conceding 48.

And so it proved as Cobham ran out 7-0 winners, though the hosts really should have gone in front when one of their strikers had the goal at his mercy six yards out, but his touch let him down and he fired over.

That was the first and last serious attempt on Nick McGregor's goal and it was not long before Scott Day netted from a tight angle to give Cobham the lead.

Richard Ramsay was making his first team debut for the visitors and it was a day to remember as he bagged four goals. The first was a neat left foot finish to make it 2-0 and he linked up neatly with Shane Rideout to make it three before half-time.

Cobham extended their lead at the start of the second period when Constantin flicked on a Mark Thomas free kick. Thomas then got in on the act, finishing in style from long range, before the Ramsay show continued.

He completed a perfect hat-trick with a header from a Thomas cross and netted his fourth with 15 minutes to go to help his side into fourth position in the table.
