Reigate's last nightclub goes into liquidation
REIGATE'S last remaining nightclub has gone into liquidation, owing its creditors almost £750,000.
JJ Whispers has operated in Church Street since December 2007, and also as a restaurant since November 2008.

It was still trading as the Mirror went to press on Wednesday.
One creditor told the Mirror he was not surprised by the liquidation news. Clive Hunter-Rowe, owner of Southern Lock and Safe in Bancroft Road, Reigate, said: "They kept saying the cheque was being posted, or someone was away on holiday.

"We haven't had any dealings with them since the unpaid bills. I didn't want to have anything more to do with them for obvious reasons.
"I'm not going to miss them if they close. And of course we're not going to get our money back."
A board meeting on April 4 acknowledged that the company was insolvent, and that steps should be taken to place it into voluntary liquidation.
Following a creditors' meeting on April 25, a resolution was passed to wind the company up and London-based insolvency practitioner David Rubin was appointed liquidator.
No one from JJ Whispers was available to comment as the Mirror went to press.
