Spotlight shows that Redhill's got talent
Hundreds of showbiz fans flocked to the Harlequin Theatre to check out the local talent.
Joined by soap star and Kingswood showman Shane Richie and Reigate and Banstead Mayor Richard Mantell, more than 300 spectators turned up to the Spotlight event on Thursday, February 25.

ARTISTIC ACROBATS: The Sovereign gymnasts wow the spectators.
This was a showcase that bucked the trend from the ruthless talent shows seen on TV – as all the money raised was passed on to charity.
And to put TV bosses to shame, this was all organised by a group of volunteers for no money.
Workers from Surrey Vinvolved Youth Group managed to secure a venue and convince 11 acts to perform at the show.
Co-organiser and University of Surrey student Kayleigh-Jade Telfer, 20, of Abinger Drive, Redhill, said: "It has been such a hectic couple of months.
"It was totally worth it though. I'm so passionate about bringing through talented performers."
Among the acts on the night were a gymnastics team, a martial arts group and a jazz trio.
The Youth Team's manager, Gareth Owen, added: "Shane Richie was a real bonus on the night.
"Halfway through the performance he came up and did a little analysis of the acts he had just seen.
"He was really witty and gave the contestants good advice.
"The whole night was a success. As for whether we would do it all over again – we'll see. It took an awful lot of organisation but it was a really good night."
Spotlight's own version of Dermot O'Leary – MC Alisdair Boundy – compèred the evening.
Surrey Vinvolved's objective is to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of volunteering for young people aged 16 to 25.
Since April 2008 it has been operating from offices in Redhill, Guildford and Woking YMCAs, working to create a dynamic youth volunteering culture across the county.
