Surrey all-rounder Matthew Spriegel says he hopes he can get some time in the middle during his sides tour of Abu Dhabi.

Speaking to Surrey TV he said: "I've been indoors all winter, so coming out here with the lovely weather and warm climate is really good and I'm looking forward to getting the game underway."

"As we found last year, a lot of cricket is about momentum, so if we start well then no matter who plays, it should bode well for us when we get back."
