A post mortem examination carried out shortly after the death at the Royal Surrey County Hospital gave a preliminary cause of death as incised wounds to the heart.

A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "Following a thorough investigation, the incident is now being treated as non-suspicious and, pending any further information coming to light, the matter will be passed to the coroner's office."
