Tour of Britain cycle route announced
THE exact route and race times for Mole Valley's section of the Tour of Britain have been announced.
The international cycling event will pass through the district on its final day, visiting Dorking, Leith Hill and Ockley on September 15.
The final stage of the tour will begin in Reigate and finish in Guildford, passing through Dorking High Street at 12.30pm, where the first sprint will occur.
The cyclists will then ride along the A25 through Westcott to Guildford, where they will arrive at 1pm.

The route will then loop around to the north before turning south and passing through West Horsley and returning to Mole Valley at Holmbury St Mary.
Riders will reach Leith Hill Road at 2pm, then Ockley at 2.10pm before going south west past Dunsfold on the way back to Guildford for the finish.
Organisers predict the eight-day race will include some of the world's top cyclists, including Britain's Olympic gold medal hopeful Mark Cavendish.
The competition will begin in Ipswich on September 9, before finishing with the 91-mile final stage in Surrey.
Mole Valley will also host part the men's and women's Olympic cycling road races on July 28 and 29.
