Tour of Britain to head to Guildford in September
The Tour of Britain cycling series will conclude with a stage in the Guildford borough - starting in Reigate and finishing on Guildford's cobbled high street.
The stage, which forms the eighth part of the tour, will cover 147.7km and take place on Sunday 16th September.
Stage one of the race will see the competitors travel through Dorking and Shere whilst stage two sees them pass through small towns such as Bramley. A full map can be seen above.
This won't be the only major cycling event in Guildford this year as this comes two months after the town borough takes part in the Olympic cycling road races.
