Following the successful launch of Elmbridge's Olympic Legacy Funding, as part of the Elmbridge Celebrates Campaign, a second wave of small grants is now available.

The Elmbridge Olympic Legacy Small Grants Funding is aimed at sport clubs who can apply for up to £500 to help with equipment or coach and volunteer development costs.  The application process for Elmbridge's small grants is quick and easy. For smaller clubs, it is the ideal chance to apply for that all-important sports kit or valuable coaching courses. There is a total of £3,000 available and applications will be considered on a first come first served basis.

This second wave of funding is aimed at providing a lasting local legacy and will enable the community to continue enjoying sport after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The success of the initial Olympic Legacy Funding saw 13 clubs successfully applying for £37,000 collectively.

For advice or an application form for the Small Grants Sport Legacy fund, please call the leisure development manager on 01372 474583 or email leisure@elmbridge.gov.uk
