DORKING were sent to a 4-0 defeat at Molesey in the Combined Counties Premier Division on Saturday.

Manager Tony Webb stepped in between the sticks because of Dan Coote's absence and produced a stunning display of goalkeeping, but could do nothing to prevent the four goals that went past him.

Despite conceding a goal in only the fifth minute, Webb was in imperious form, keeping his side in the game until they were seen off in the final 30 minutes.

Influential midfielder Dan Clayton and Jesse Davis were missing from the side that beat Chertsey 10 days beforehand and their absence meant the Dorking midfield was overrun for much of the game by a more dominant Molesey unit.

The Chicks' best spell came either side of half-time when they had two efforts cleared off the line.

Molesey became increasingly influential as the game progressed though and it was no real surprise when they stretched their lead on 60 minutes when Lampard scored.

On a heavy pitch the game became stretched, and Lewis and a McShane penalty on 75 and 86 minutes gave the home side a deserved win as the visitors tired.
