Woman charged with husband's murder
A MURDER investigation is underway after a man was found dead at a house in Effingham on Saturday.
Police were called to the property in Norwood Road in the early hours of the morning.

75-year-old Tony Wakeford was found dead at the house and his wife, 67-year-old Patricia Wakeford, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
A post mortem examination found the cause of death to be a fatal stab wound to the heart.
Mrs Wakeford was charged with murder and appeared at Guildford Magistrates' Court on Monday.
She appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday by video link and was remanded in custody.
On Saturday afternoon neighbours in the street spoke of their shock at the news.
Colin Blunden, 52, said: "I woke up this morning and there were three white police vans outside and forensic teams and they have been there all day."
Another neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "It's a terrible shock, very sad. They were absolutely lovely neighbours."
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: "Enquiries are continuing and no-one else is being sought in connection with the incident."
