WOODMANSTERNE Cricket Club played host to a touring U13 academy side from South Africa who took on local academy side of youngsters from around Surrey.

Organised by Neil Bunting and Darren Talbot, the Twenty20 Cricket Academy works with young cricketers throughout the year. The academy head coach is former Sri Lankan U19 international, Eranga Mendis, assisted by experienced former MCC ground staff and Sussex second XI cricketer, Lindsay Moody.

The Twenty20 Academy knocked off the runs with overs to spare, winning by three wickets.
