Another draw for Lingfield
IT is two draws out of two for new manager Mick Buckingham as Lingfield ground out a scoreless draw against promotion-hopefuls Redhill.
Buckingham, whose first game in charge was a 1-1 draw away to Eastbourne last Saturday, admits he is happy with the result.

GET READY: Lingfield were unable to find a way past Redhill on Tuesday night
"We got pinned back in the second half and didn't get as many chances as I would like, but I think the boys did well," he said.
"Like Eastbourne, Redhill are a good side, and I think a draw is a better result for us than it maybe is for them."
Yet to make any major changes to the Lingfield line-up, Buckingham believes the metamorphosis will take time.
"I'm new here and I feel like I'm going through pre-season at the moment," he explained.
"Before I make changes I want to see the players properly. Rather than sling everything at the boys at once, I'd like to improve things in stages. But I was very pleased with the back-line. I think it's strong and we can work forward from there."
Lingfield, 13th in the league, face Seaford Town on Saturday in the third round of the RUR Cup, and Buckingham admits the competition is taking on increased importance.
"I think the league has already been won by the top teams, so the cup would be fantastic," he said.
"Sometimes if the league is out of your touch then a cup run keeps everyone focused and together."
On 21 minutes Simon Wallace got Lingfield's first real chance of the game when his shot from the right was easily gathered by keeper Phil Sellek.
On 37 minutes Lingfield might have gone ahead after a free-kick took a rebound towards the Redhill goal, but referee Colin Mallows ruled the ball had not cross the line.
In the second half, Lingfield were restricted to a single opportunity for Wallace, as Bonnett had chance after chance but was unable to put the ball away.
