A PERSONAL trainer is running an exercise classes with a difference to help new mums stay fit and healthy.

Pip Skinner runs a "buggymummy" classes, where mothers with children as young as six weeks old keep fit by exercising with their buggies, in Meadowbank, Dorking.

The mum of two came up with the idea when she had to give up her career in the city after having children.

Mrs Skinner said: "Anyone with children will know that becoming a mum can be a lonely time.

"You can miss the routine of work and find it more difficult to maintain old social circles, especially if you are the first among friends to start a family.

"Many of us don't have the time or finances to go to the gym so my classes provide an affordable way to keep fit and socialise with the added bonus of not needing a babysitter."

The classes run for an hour on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
