CCTV image released of shop damage suspect
On Wednesday, January 27, at 10.40pm two men entered Tesco Express, in Craddocks Parade, and on leaving the store the suspects picked up an item and threw it at the stores window.
The thrown item left a large crack in the window and caused £2,000-worth of damage.
The first suspect is described as a white man, aged between 25 and 30 years of age, around 6ft tall, skinny build, stubbly face with blond hair, wearing a white and grey horizontal stripped top with the number 29 written on the front and blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as a white man, also aged between 25 and 30 years of age and around 6ft tall, average build with dark brown short hair and wearing blue jeans, a red Manchester United shirt and brown jacket.
PC Jason Woods, Ashtead safer neighbourhood officer, said: "We have very good descriptions of both the suspects we would like to talk to, along with a clear image from the shops CCTV.
"I am very keen to find these two men and I hope that someone in the community will recognise them and come forward with information."
