Catapult vandals strike again.

Terrified residents and landlords were victims of the second dose of catapult attacks in under a month.

Small stones and a ball-bearing have been found at the scene of a number of attacks occurring in Godstone, Oxted and Limpsfield from November 19-21.

One woman was hit in the mouth by a shard of glass after her window was smashed.

Tandridge Community Safety Sergeant Dan Gutierrez said: "These incidents are extremely worrying as firing objects could potentially endanger lives.

"On one occasion a ball-bearing was used to shatter a window which resulted in a shard of glass hitting a woman in the mouth.

"Luckily she was not seriously injured but it shows the serious consequences this mindless criminal damage could have.

"Although it is not clear exactly how the damage was caused, it would appear it was as a result of an object fired from a catapult or similar device, and I would urge anyone who may have seen someone using one of these to contact police."

Vandals also targeted the Godstone Hotel, High Street, Godstone, The Bull pub, High Street, Limpsfield, and the Royal Oak pub, Caterfield Lane, Oxted.

Similar damage occurred at the end of October when houses and vehicles in Oxted, Hurst Green and Limpsfield were targeted.

Witnesses should contact Police on 0845 125 2222 with any information.
