Man, 30, repeatedly stabbed in Woodhatch

A man could be scarred for life after he was repeatedly stabbed in the chest, abdomen and left thigh.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after the 30-year-old man was stabbed in a flat in New Causeway, Woodhatch, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Detective constable Rachel Pearson, of Reigate CID, said: "This was a particularly vicious assault which left the victim requiring hospital treatment and which could leave him scarred for life."

Police said five men were seen arguing outside the property after the stabbing, before three of them got into a taxi and drove away.

Three men from Redhill aged 23, 29, and 32, and a 17-year-old from Horley have been arrested.

DC Pearson said: "Surrey Police will not tolerate violence of this kind and with your help we can bring those responsible to justice."
