TRIBUTES have been paid to a loving father-of-two who died after a car accident.

Anthony Joste died ten days after a car accident in Blackbrook Road in North Holmwood last month.

Former partner Sarah Cox, who lives in Horsham, said: "He was a very loving dad and a good friend.

"He was very well liked in Dorking and very well known."

The 41-year-old, who was living with his sister Beverley in South Holmwood, was driving between Dorking and Holmwood when the accident happened on June 20 – Father's Day.

Friends of the keen football player and fisherman held a memorial service for him at Dorking Rugby Football Club last Saturday.

Miss Cox, who had daughter Georgia, 7, and son Cameron, 4, with Mr Joste, added: "They did a very generous collection for the children.

"The memorial service was very nice and tasteful.

"There were photos of Anthony everywhere and lots of lovely tributes."

Friends of Mr Joste, known as 'Jostie', have also set up a Facebook tribute page.

Steve Barfe said: "My thoughts, love and best wishes to Jostey's family and friends.

"He was a top bloke and I was always so envious of him at school."

Another message from Denise Armstrong-Ward said: "He was a great guy and will be very much missed by all who knew him."

Mr Joste, who lived in Rothes Road, Dorking, for much of his life, also leaves behind mum Joyce, who lives in Dorking, and brother David.
