New Church of England primary
SURREY County Council has chosen the provider for Horley's new primary school.
Southwark Diocese Board of Education will lead the development of the one-form entry school, which will open in The Acres in Langshott in September 2014.
The decision has now been submitted to the Department for Education, which will have to approve it before the final public consultation can be held on the school's design.
Barbara Lane, director of the diocese's board, said: "We are very excited to be moving into an area where there is not currently a Church of England school."

“Cult school. Lol what a dumb comment. My son is from a Church of England school and right now they are going through a terrible loss and they are pulling together so well. The fact that it is a Church of England school is helping the children and friends understand and the closeness that you find in that place is amazing. So although you are allowed your opinions, best make sure they are backed up by facts first! x”
