Shirts go in the hat for slice of Park life
SOUTH Park Football Club have come up with an innovative way to make money next season.
The club are pioneering a raffle for shirt sponsorship for the 2012-13 season. Rather than selling shirt sponsorship to one company, the King George's Field outfit will sell tickets for £50, with the winner having their company name on shirt fronts.
Everyone else who entered will not have wasted £50 though.
Secretary Nick Thatcher said: "Bearing in mind the current economic climate, we felt this may be the best way to go. It just costs a business £50 to enter and they are guaranteed an advert in the programme for the whole season and have the opportunity of winning one of three prizes as well."

All entrants will receive free admission to a first-team home league game with hospitality. The draw will take place in mid to late July, ensuring the sponsors' logo can be printed on the first-team kit in time for the new season on Saturday, August 4.
Thatcher said: "We have mooted it round local businesses. And some players, who have their own businesses are thinking of entering as well. If we have another successful season like we have for the last two years with coverage locally and nationally, it will be well worth it."
To purchase your ticket send a cheque payable to SPSA to the secretary, South Park FC, 9 New North Road, South Park, Reigate RH2 8LZ with contact details and if possible the logo, should you be lucky enough to win the raffle.
